Latest Idol dozen has got a lot of hot ones America!

Can somone say what what…Idol last night on Fox was blazing! I even voted.
But seriously, I think 2009 is a great year for talent and diversity. More than three of last night’s contestants deserve to go forward to the top 12. My thoughts on the matter:
Country Kendall gave one up for the girls and I liked it. I think she’ll have a lot of support singing that song like that and will probably be among the three chosen on tonight’s show.
Felecia from Virginia Beach looks a lot like Alicia Keys. She sang eighth and was the best to that point.
Karoake Kristin was very bluesy singing Tracy Chapman’s “Give Me One Reason,“ though she probably won’t get through. I’m really hoping Jorge from Puerto Rico gets through—this guy is raw. What a heart. We can feel you. What a voice. I’m rooting for ya dude…even gave you two votes.
Lil Rounds singing Mary J. Blige was inspired, beyond words. Such desire. Such natural born talent. She’s going through.
And then finally Scott, the blind guy. Again, his love, his heart for music almost knocks you over. He had some really brilliant moments last night and despite some issues as well, Scott speaks to you. Moving mountains, as Kara said.
The best line of the night came from Simon, of course, in response to poor little Alex’s afflicted performance: “You’re like a little hamster trying to be a tiger.“ Ouch. Why didn’t I think of that?
