Lil leaves in dramatic fashion
Idol pumped up the drama last night, getting rid of Lil Rounds less than 20 minutes into the one-hour show. She handled herself gracefully though and went out proving she is every woman. We’ll be seeing ya around Lil.
But it was little Miss Paul Abdul who stole the show, pulling out her slick dance moves like it was 1986. The opening dance performance by the Idol contestants, under her tutelage, was entertaining indeed. Made me want to dance and shout. Even though it was Disco. Even better though was Disco throwback Thelma Houston bringing down the house last night. She brought it back for me. Sounded fantastic, looked fantastic. KC from the Sunshine Band, on the other hand, not so much. Good backup dancers/singers though.
And in the end, cute Anoop left us as well, headed back to Chapel Hill. It’s just the beginning dog.
Bravo to my man Matt for a huge comeback.
