No lie

I’m becoming a fan of “Lie to Me.“ The pilot was only avarage, but each week the show has gotten stronger. Unfortunately CBS is showing a penchant for pre-empting it and that won’t help build an audience. In fact, don’t look for it next Wednesday. The premise of being able to tell how a person is feeling or whether they are lying or what they might do based on facial expressions and body language is not unique, but no TV show has done it so well or devoted so much attention to it. Give it a watch…if you can find it some Wednesday at 9 p.m.

Another intriguing show is “Life on Mars.“ The storyline in this one is a cop from 2009 gets in an accident and winds up back in the ‘70s. It’s amazing how much things have changed in the 30-plus years since then. And if you’re a fan of ‘70s music, you’ll enjoy the music. Check it out at 10 p.m. Wednesday’s.
