My prayers go out to the woman and child who were attacked Wednesday by the two pit bulls. I am a dog owner myself, and I was scared when I walked out and saw these dogs in my yard Sunday night.
I have a 1-year-old, and I know how the family feels. Animal control could have prevented this, as my family called them three times to check on these dogs. They said they came out, but we did not see them. My sisters were walking down the same road where the victims were attacked; it could have been them who were hurt.
I do not consider the breed as bad, but these dogs have teeth and they will bite. Again, my prayers go out to the family.
