Culpeper Literacy Council thanks Pepperberries

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The board of directors and staff of the Culpeper Literacy Council would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Pepperberries in downtown Culpeper for its generosity in promoting and supporting literacy. Sharon Clark, owner of Pepperberries, donated 10% of the shop’s sales to CLC during the Downtown Holiday Open House on Nov. 21 and 22.

Literacy board members assisted the Pepperberries staff during the weekend and handed out flyers with information about CLC. We are grateful for the opportunity Pepperberries afforded us to share information about literacy and our mission to promote, coordinate and facilitate the development of literacy services for adults 18 years and older in Culpeper County.

Pepperberries is an outstanding example of a local business that gives back to the community by partnering with organizations such as CLC to educate and raise awareness of important services that help people in our community. Thank you, Pepperberries, from everyone at the Culpeper Literacy Council!
