Crosen thanks blood donors

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Rebecca Crosen, Mrs. Virginia International and a resident of Culpeper for the past one and a half years, spent an hour at the CUMC blood drive Friday, thanking donors for taking such an important step in saving the lives of others.

Crosen stopped by CUMC on her way to Charlottesville for pageantry events, beginning Friday evening and continuing into Saturday, where she will pass the title on Saturday evening.

Having held the title for the past year, Crosen looks forward to crowning Mrs. Virginia International 2012 and returning to Culpeper to resume normal life events.

"It has been a crazy and hectic year," said Crosen who will continue travelling to advocate for blood donation though not nearly as much as required by her title.

She invites folks to visit her website, itship2give.org and her blog spot, hip2give.blogspot.com where she has shared her experiences over the past year.
