Local law enforcement charged two men and a woman Friday morning with felony possession of cocaine in Culpeper.
The Culpeper Police Department, Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police conducted the pre-dawn drug raid in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue.
The VSP SWAT team entered the home around 2:25 a.m., assisting the Culpeper Police and CCSO deputies with executing a search warrant, according to town spokesman Wally Bunker.
Jason Ryan White, 29, of the 900 block of Virginia Avenue, faces a felony possession of cocaine charge. Jack Albert White, Jr., 32, of the 900 block of Virginia Avenue, was charged with distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges of destruction of property and possession of marijuana.
Shaykita V. Grant, 22, of the 7400 block of Kirtley Trail faces a felony possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.
“Due to a large number of people in the house at the time of the raid, the joint police and sheriff’s emergency response team escorted people outside to better secure the house and identify the occupants,” said Bunker. “Following a search of the house, police seized drug paraphernalia, suspected powder and crack cocaine, along with suspected marijuana and cash.”
Bunker added that immediately after the raid Jack White reportedly became disorderly.
While in the police car, Jack White reportedly kicked out the passenger side back window. According to the release, suspected cocaine was found wrapped in folded currency after White was searched at the jail.
This investigation was initiated by the town police and sheriff’s office joint Street Crimes Unit.
