There were no students on the Culpeper County Public Schools bus that crashed on U.S. 29 Monday afternoon, according to superintendent Bobbi Johnson. Johnson said the bus driver and aide were both transported to the hospital. The single-vehicle crash took place on U.S. 29 just south of Mountain Run Lake Road around 4:35 p.m. after northbound bus No. 80 left the road and slammed into some nearby trees.
