Adjoining Orange and Spotsylvania counties each received up to four inches of snow Sunday night, leaving roads messy and slushy in the overnight hours.
Warmer temperatures quickly melted all the snow Monday, and even warmer temperatures are headed this way.
Is spring on the way?
The National Weather Service predicts mostly sunny skies today with highs near 52 in Orange County, Culpeper and much of the Piedmont.
Wednesday, highs will reach near 62, according to NWS, and by Thursday it will be partly sunny with a high near 69.
Rain is possible Friday but temperatures will remain in the 60s.
