The Historically Black Colleges and Universities college festival will be held Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School, in Alexandria.
Students from Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School are encouraged to visit their guidance counselors if they have an interest in attending the event.
Students from all over the state will attend, sponsored by the Alfred Street Baptist Church.
Several school districts are sending buses of students, including Charlottesville and Albemarle.
Culpeper County Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Technology Rob Hauman said that so far, interest has been minimal in Culpeper County. He said that each high school has between four and five students interested.
According to Hauman, the school may reserve an activities bus to transport students if enough interest is generated.
