  • READER'S VIEWS: Thank you for helping support mock crash demonstrations

The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the many people and businesses who assisted with mock crash demonstrations at our high schools.

  • Dog park is a good idea

I think it's a great idea to move ahead with a dog park at Mountain Run Park.  It's a lovely park, somewhat underutilized it seems, and this could bring more residents with their pets for hours of recreation and relaxing.

  • Thank you to my 'angels'

I am the “elderly” woman involved in the Tuesday, May 15 robbery at the Culpeper Wal-Mart. I just had to express my heartfelt thanks to all the Good Samaritans who immediately came to my aid that day which did not allow Kelly Lee Minor to escape justice.

  • LETTER TO THE EDITOR: We have the oil

Good news.  Anyone reading this today will never see "Peak Oil."

  • READER'S VIEWS: Frederick believes in justice

It is my pleasure to strongly recommend Megan Revis Frederick for the position of Culpeper County Commonwealth’s Attorney.

  • Madison hosting four-miler training

    Calling all women!

The recent addition of the "No Right on Red" at Main and Evans has added an everyday 15 minutes to my and others' commutes, where before it was unbearable only on Fridays.

At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 15 Election Officers wound their way in the rain to five polling stations in the Town.

  • READER'S VIEWS: Frederick sets the record straight on comments at mass meeting

Several letters from supporters of interim Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Walther have recently appeared in theCulpeper Star Exponent.  Disappointingly, those letters have mischaracterized the substance of my speech to the Republican Mass Meeting on April 26.

  • READER'S VIEWS: Tone of mass meeting was surprising

I attended the recent Republican Mass meeting to select local candidates to represent the party in the up coming November election and was shocked when I saw the number of people who attended.

  • My thoughts on two questions

I just wanted to clarify, I did answer all the questions in the candidates bio, I inadvertently sent the wrong attachment.

  • Appalled at Frederick's speech at mass meeting

I attended my first Republican Meeting tonight Culpeper County High School.
