Cyclones win shootout with Foxes
KING GEORGE - Tiara Jackson racked up 19 points Tuesday and the Eastern View High School junior varsity girls basketball team came out on top of a shootout at King George, 33-32.
Tierra Ross added six points, Jazmyn Minor finished with four and Destiny Williams and Dominique Scott both chipped in with two.
The Cyclones (12-1) host Caroline on Tuesday.

Eagles move to 15-1 with rivalry win over Falcons
BEALETON - Liberty High School’s girls basketball team held the visiting Fauquier Falcons to six points in the first half Tuesday, and the Eagles topped their cross-county rivals, 68-24.
Liberty’s Liz Wood led all scorers with 19 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks.
Six-foot-4 center Bri Croushorn finished with 13 points and six rebounds, Aubri Cummett added 11 points and three steals and Erin Morant chipped in nine points and five rebounds.
The Eagles (15-1 overall, 5-0 Evergreen) host Wakefield School today at 6:30 p.m.
